Chitipati Empowerment

Citipati are the principle Dharma protectors of Vajrayogini. The prerequisite for the Chitipati empowerment is having already received the Vajrayogini empowerment from a Sakya lama. If you have not previously received the Vajrayogini Empowerment from a Sakya lama then you cannot receive this empowerment. There are no exceptions.

The location for the Citipati empowerment is: Sakya Dechen Ling, 801 Pierce St #3, Albany, 94706 (corner of Pierce and Washington. This is a residential area)

Green Tara Empowerment

Green Tara, the Mother of all Buddhas, is the female manifestation of compassion. There is no prerequisite for the Green Tara Empowerment; however a vegetarian diet (no onions, garlic, eggs either) for the entire day is necessary. The Tara four mandala puja and a brief instruction on Tara practice will follow the initiation.

The location for the Green Tara empowerment is Ewam Choden Tibetan Buddhist Center, 254 Cambridge Avenue, Kensington, CA 94708 (This is a residential area, so please be considerate of neighbors when parking.
